Gail Nagler Haugsven

"I attended CVHS as a sophomore to the beginning of Senior year.  Actually I think I started there in January of our Sophomore year.. Finished High School in Newburyport, Massachusetts and then studied nursing and worked as an RN in Massachusetts and Alaska. Have three children, two boys and a girl, two granddaughters, and a grandchild due in December."

"My best wishes and congrats for the 55th reunion of the class of '57! Have a wonderful time! Enjoy every moment! "

Jackie Cummings Payne:

"I graduated with the class of '57. Then due to being a "military brat", we moved the very next day for a new duty station, in Michigan. I am now married with one son, 2 granddaughters and a great grandson. Boy! Does that make me feel old! I live in beautiful Prescott, AZ. with my new husband of 6 years. I think of a lot of you and the good times at CVHS. I wish I could attend the reunion and re-visit with all of you. Keep in touch and drop me an email to jlcnav@aol.com, if and when you have time. Love to all of you!!" ..... Jackie.
John Hammond and family:

If I'm retired, how come I have so many commitments? Unfortunately, I'm booked (mostly grandkid stuff) for that weekend. I get back to San Diego regularly (have to get a beach fix each August when the water is sometimes warm enough). Berkeley has been a great place to downsize to (a plus is having  the grandkids and their parents close at hand). One of my regrets is that I didn't apply to Cal - I was too comfortable at home so San Diego State had to do. That's me on the right, my daughters and their spouses (both very good cooks!) join Linda and I for a week at Mission Beach each August.

I also maintain the www.BerkeleyHistoricalSociety.org     website.

Barbara Meisner Muir, left, (with Judy Miller Gosnell, 2012)

Barbara spends her summers in Central Point, OR, and winters in So. Calif. with her husband Dean. She discovered that CVHS classmate Judy Miller (Gosnell) lived in nearby Grants Pass. When they got together, they discovered they had a mutual interest in Russia. Barbara's mother was born in Russia, and Judy had traveled to Russia many times. Judy was a member of Grants Pass-Rubtsovsk Sister City organization... and soon...Barbara was as well. Barbara journeyed to Rubtsovsk in Siberia, with a small group from Grants Pass. She loved it!

Barbara was surprised and pleased to find others living nearby in Southern Oregon that attended CVHS Class of 57. Some mini-reunions were held here in Oregon.. Click here to see mini-reunion.

If you would like to contact Barbara, let me know.
